Yamaha G29 48V 15A Golf Cart Battery Charger - Schauer JAC1548H for Yamaha Drive Electric Golf Carts - Perfect for Home, Course & Fleet Charging

I am using the Schauer JAC1548H charger to (try to) charge 4 new 100ah AGM batteries in a 48v golf cart. all cables connecting batteries are new 8 ga cables so all connections are good, clean etc. When I connected it to the brand new fully charged batteries it correctly displayed a solid green light indication batteries were fully charged.But I've driven my golf cart 8 or more times and tried to recharge it after each use. The charger will not charge the batteries in one 'session'. The following tasks need to be repeated MANY times to charge the batteries:Turn on chargerAfter 4-5 minutes charger stops and flashes red and green lights as if it timed out (but specs day time is after about 18 hours)Turn off chargerWait one minute to allow it to resetTurn on againRepeat every 5 minutes or so for a couple hours until charger says batteries are charged.I'll initiate a return and try another unit.I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because charger arrived with wrong plug and Impact Batteries was easy to work with to remedy that.Update after a successful charge:Batteries we're only moderately discharged. Charger started and continued charging with no issues or interruption and ran all the way to full charged. Fingers crossed that this will continue. Charger doc says a pack of new batteries might take 3-5 charges before issues like I was having are resolved. Maybe I just had a worse-than-normal instance of that. Added 1 star... Up to 3 stars now. I like the yamaha charger better as you don't have to deal/remember the on and off switch but about 1/2 the price of the yamaha so a better deal.Works great the golf cart stayed charged longer than ever . Can use for 3 prong chargeso far so good other that the Red LED Light does not work to indicate on / offItem will not work, past the return window, have not even opened box til recently because of weather. Had new batteries installed and went to charge and charger will not charge.Charged all my batteries quickly working fine
