After recent major health problems and having 7 new meds, half of which caused major weight gain, I needed something to get me moving. I gained 65 lbs in 5 months and have to be on these meds for at least a year. My specialist suggested yoga, but I'm not s fan. I thought it was a great idea to use ballet as my go-to exercise. The Dr agreed using the term "unique". Lol I took ballet as a kid for 7 years ago and I still know the basics. YouTube helped refresh my memory, too.The Barre was easy to put together and the height of the bars are easily adjustable. For an "average person" or child, the sturdiness would be fine. For a bigger person (well over 200 lbs), it's fine for basic ballet movements and positions. But anything more, you may feel a little give. For stability, this where it's really lacking. The Barre moves on my hardwood floors too easily. I can see how trying to do a simple stretch with ankle on the top barre could make it move and you'd inadvertently end up in an unwanted split with your tush on the floor. Again, an average person or child may be fine, but us rounder girls need to be aware. I think I'll have my hubs McGyver something for me.All in all, what I wanted, decent quality and would buy again!
