I weirdly researched hand weights for a month before purchasing these. I liked the look, the metal bar was grooved for easy grip, the bar was long enough that I could do push ups without blisters, and the dumbbells were rubber and not metal. These have been great! I do wear gloves when using just to keep my girly hands callous free.They stink! Strong chemical smell - hope it subsides or will be returning.These are decent if you want some dumbbells at home. The rubber caps on the ends were slimy and put off a strange fume that filled my home gym for a few days but it eventually faded.These are the best weights! They don’t roll like the round ones and they don’t chip like the polypropylene ones. Love them and need to go up to 15’s next!Looks great, solid productAnother brand sent iron weights with no grip versus photo and small chips to surface coat. These are great - as described.I feel stronger already!They're are great, sturdy investment. I kind of want more sizes now haha.Would recommend. I do agree with some of the reviewers that it does smell strong at first and there's a greasy film on the rubber, but I think it is a normal thing with brand new rubber dumbbells. I soaked and scrubbed it with sunlight detergent, so I'm pretty sure it will be better. Paid 125$ for the pair of 25lbs (I actually received a pair). For that price, it's a really good deal (at my local store, one 25lbs dumbbell cost around 100$, which is absolutely insane).If you have a cat that likes to do his nails on neoprene dumbbells, these are exactly what you need. A bit pricey compare to other places but the quality is there. I've spent a small fortune on neoprene dumbbells until I decided to get the rubber one. Ambas mancuernas pesan exactamente lo mismo y el vendedor fue muy profesional. Venían en emplaye y sin caja (no había necesidad, quiero suponer) pero se ven nuevas. Smell disappears over a few days.My order is really messed up. I’ve received 2xsets if 10 pound. I believe 2 we’re supposed to be 20 pounds. The 15’s I find confusing when ordering as I was under the impression it was also a set of 2.Now, the returns...will update.Unlike descriptions I saw for other handweight ses when I was debating which to order, these aren't flimsy or cheap looking or feeling. Solid construction. No paint to chip. Longevity looks likely to be a non-issue.
