If you purchase and a bigger person, you need to put a dumbbell at the end or something to weigh it down or it’ll pop upOtherwise an inexpensive product that does the jobFirst - you get what you generally pay for. This is not some $150-$250 leg stretcher. Let's be clear about that. It's overall just ok. Even with the foam pads on the ankle "L" portion, the foam padding is not going to provide you with superior comfort on your ankle bones. You will probably have to wear socks too.....the more you try to stretch - the more pressure and squeeze you are going to put on your ankles. It's simple leverage physics. My biggest complaint was this model just does NOT lock in place once I get to my desired stretch position. Either I didn't realize this or I didn't read all of the reviews or product description. So I'm not blaming the product or manufacturer. That's my fault. It's small and can collapse (so it's portable if I am traveling). But as a middle-aged man just trying to keep fit and keep flexible, I don't need anything to travel with. I can wait a few days or a week until I'm back home again to stretch like this. My next purchase will be a much more bigger, heavier version with a fully padded seat and legs with the rotating steering wheel that allows me to slightly stretch wider and wider, but most importantly stops and locks into place. So you get what you pay for. I want something better so the next purchase is going to be the $150-$300 model.Surprisingly useful! I snagged this item because when I was a kid, my dad had a huge bulky version of this machine. I wanted one for myself, so I found this. Works perfectly!Works ok but the directions are in Chinese there are no English directions at all it would nice be nice to be able to read the papers that come with itI have got a lot of good out of this so-far. It's very sturdy. I had to start with the legs all the way in, because I'm so inflexible. It also works good to put the center plastic piece against a wall in front of you.Can be uncomfortable on the ankles, so I recommend putting a folded up thick sock in between that and your ankle. This looks like a simple enough product but setting it up so that it works right for you is a bit of a trick. The two sides do not move very fluidly and one side is usually turned more in one direction or the other. I don't know if I am just using it wrong...there are no directions other than telling you how to adjust the unit. It does not give you any information as to whether you may be using it wrong. I hope this makes sense. It's just an awkward kind of product to describe. This one little, light piece of equipment does a great job for the stretch it's meant for. It may be a little tough for people who aren't at least moderately flexible because the handle, even on the longest setting, is still a bit far forward to reach for those who can't hinge forward a bit. All in all- it's a simple design that can be great for increasing adductor extensability.
