The collapsible design of this makes it super convenient to store, and can even make for a decent arm or leg workout if you're so inclined. It is a foam-over-plastic core design, so it has a soft exterior which is great when the little chitlins get too close. Don't expect a "traditional" plastic hula-hoop - this feels a lot nicer, albeit a bit heavier.Getting the connecting piece apart isn't too bad, though it can be a struggle if you have little arm strength. The spring-button is recessed beneath the surface of the hoop, which is great as it won't catch anything.Really, the only negative is the black and white striped design. It looks fine until you start spinning it. Once you do that, it quickly becomes VERY disorienting and can even hurt your eyes. A solid color or even horizontal stripes would fair much better.The material has felt on it. I’m so happy that this is so easy to carry! The hula hoop itself unravels and comes with a carry on strap. It makes it so easy to take this anywhere because the hula hoop becomes small and it has a carry on strap. It’s not too heavy or too light. I would recommend this for sure!This is perfect for a light midsection workout. This literally requires minimal maintenance and I love how you can collapse and store it. It's easy to setup and easy to store. Its for all ages young and old. I would recommend.This is such a fun workout. Even just watching TV! It snaps right into place when I want to use it and stays secure. The Velcro lining helps it stay on my waist so I can have fun as long as I want ?
